It provides technology and computer skills training and employability skills in a comfortable and safe learning environment.  Plus, you’ll get a practical work placement to use your skills on the job!

Computer and Job Skills

Program participants will get in-class training on important things that can help them find and keep meaningful employment. You’ll learn soft skills like leadership and team building. You’ll also learn about job searching, resume building and interviewing.

In addition, our knowledgeable instructors will ensure each participant is equipped with the basic computer skills employers are looking for! You’ll learn how to navigate common software programs and operating systems so you can apply for in-house and remote employment opportunities.

Valuable Work Experience

Obtaining practical on-the-job experience is critical to obtaining employment opportunities. It allows you to put your training into practice and learn what you’re good at and how to improve. It also provides essential learning opportunities that can only be found while doing the work!

The Restart Your Career program offers work placements so you can gain valuable practical experience. In fact, the program includes 140 hours of on-the-job, practical learning.

Certification

Some job positions might require applicants to have specific certifications. This program has you covered! Participants of Restart Your Career will graduate with their certifications in First Aid, CPR, WHMIS and Customer Service.
