🎉Exciting news! Nine of our amazing participants with barriers and disabilities have been hired by Aramark Canada to work across various outlets at the University of Alberta! ☕
EmployAbilities would like to send a huge shoutout to our Job Developers, Elaine Officer and Jon Garland, and to Carola Jankowski, Assistant General Manager at Aramark U of A, for their dedication and partnership in making this happen.
Our participants have shared numerous positive experiences, stating that they feel valued and supported, and that Aramark is genuinely a great place to work. We also sincerely appreciate how welcoming and encouraging Carola and the entire supervisory team at Aramark have been.
This milestone highlights the importance of creating opportunities for individuals with barriers and disabilities. When given a chance, individuals shine and contribute in meaningful ways. 🙌
