EDMONTON AND GREATER AREA PROGRAMS:
Learn 2 Earn Designed for youth 15-30 with disabilities and barriers to employment, L2E provides 10 weeks of class-based paid skills training and 12 weeks of work experience.
Restart Your Career Our most comprehensive training for people with disabilities and barriers to re-enter the workforce. RYC provides 230 hours of computer instruction, 230 hours of invaluable job skills training, and a 140 hour practicum.
Strive 4 Work Offering training and employment supports for people with disabilities, mental health barriers, and medical conditions. SFW provides 10 weeks of in-person skills training and 12 weeks of work experience, with the potential for employment to follow.
EmployAbilities for Newcomers Pre-employment skills training for new Canadians with disabilities and permanent conditions. To be eligible newcomers must have arrived in Canada within the last 10 years, meet the residency requirements, and have a disability and/or permanent condition.
Inclusive Career Connections Guided one-on-one support from caring, supportive EmployAbilities staff to help you get a job and keep it.
OUTSIDE OF EDMONTON AREA PROGRAMS:
Lakeland Employment Services Serving unemployed and underemployed residents of Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Lac La Biche, St. Paul, Vegreville, and the surrounding area. You do not need to have a disability to access Lakeland Employment Services.
Career Evolution North Serving residents of Bonnyville and Cold Lake, CEN provides employment resources to people with disabilities and/or barriers to employment in those Alberta communities (and surrounding area). Preference will be given to clients on Employment Insurance or EI Reachback.
EmployAbilities Grande Prairie Providing employment resources, access to training opportunities, and job-related support to people living with disabilities in Grande Prairie and area. We also help connect employers to job seekers that are ready, willing, and able to work.
EmployAbilities North Serving residents of Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Lac La Biche, St. Paul, and Vegreville, EAN provides employment resources to people with a disability in those Alberta communities (and the employers who want to hire them.)
