EmployAbilities is looking to recruit new volunteer board members to serve on the board of directors to provide governance to our charitable non-profit organization moving forward. We’re specifically looking for qualified and passionate individuals to work in the following positions:

Treasurer

As Treasurer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial well-being and compliance of EmployAbilities. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission and impact. Community Engagement

The current need of the board is a board member with community engagement/fundraising experience in Edmonton who would be able to support the organization moving forward. We are seeking a passionate, relationship-driven individual to provide oversight and recommend community engagement and fundraising efforts. Business Development

We need a business development expert who can drive revenue generation, build strategic partnerships and support our organization’s expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic, relationship-oriented individual to play a crucial role in expanding our network of supporters and identifying new revenue opportunities to help grow our impact. Serving on the EmployAbilities’ Board

The board meets nine times per year for approximately. 120 minutes per meeting. Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every other month at 5 pm at the head office in Edmonton at 402, 10909 Jasper Avenue (supper is provided). The new board members would need to be from Edmonton, have an interest in supporting individuals with disabilities and barriers in finding employment across Edmonton and North Central Alberta.
