Changes to our morning visitor procedure at the EmployAbilities Edmonton office
Earlier this month, our Edmonton location was broken into, causing significant damage to windows, doors, and furniture. In the days that followed, our staff spent considerable time managing the aftermath, coordinating repairs, and updating our security procedures.
As part of those changes, we have adjusted how we welcome clients into our Edmonton location in the mornings. Clients visiting our Edmonton office are asked to wait in the lobby until 8:15 a.m., as our elevators will not provide access to our floor before that time. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we implement these additional security measures.
We are grateful for the care and flexibility our staff and community have shown throughout this experience. Our focus remains on continuing to provide the programs and services that help people with disabilities and barriers to employment build skills, find meaningful work and connect with opportunity.
The unexpected costs associated with the break-in have also created an added challenge for our organization. If you are in a position to support EmployAbilities with a donation, your contribution would be deeply appreciated. Every donation helps us continue our work and keeps resources focused on the people and communities we serve. Donation – EmployAbilities
Thank you for your understanding, your support and for being part of the EmployAbilities community.
