Western Financial Group Communities Foundation, through CanadaHelps, is giving 10 charities $10,000 each in celebration of Giving Tuesday 2024. You can help us receive this generous donation by nominating EmployAbilities! The deadline for nominations is 11:59pm on Wednesday, November 27. On Giving Tuesday (December 3) Western Financial Group will reveal the ten charities receiving a $10,000 donation.

Held annually on the first Tuesday after American Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. The idea caught on, and has grown around the world, inspiring hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Giving Tuesday was founded in 2013 in Canada by CanadaHelps.org, GIV3 and several other founding partners. Giving Tuesday has active movements in more than 80 countries, working year-round to inspire generosity around the world, with a common mission to create a world where giving is part of everyday life.
