Congratulations to the latest graduates of EmployAbilities Entry Level Employability Skills Program!  After 6 months of workplace and job search training our graduates are ready to take on the workforce!
The theme of the graduation was spring, even though ceremonies took place while a blizzard raged outside!  The ceremony was attended by over 65 people, mainly family members and friends of the 27 graduates.  Despite the heavy snowfall all the graduates attended except for three who had to work that day.
We are very proud to report that 14 of the graduates are employed, five are finalizing offers of employment and the rest are on job search activities.  Graduates found employment in a variety of occupations, such as customer service representatives, call centre agents, office administration assistants, retail sales, and financial institutions.
Once a graduate is placed,  EmployAbilities works closely with both the employer and the employee, providing a variety of supports to ensure a the working relationship remain stable and progressive.
