It is with sadden hearts we share the passing of Iris M. Saunders, our beloved Executive Director, on Friday, April 4th, 2014.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation “on behalf of Iris Saunders” be given to: EmployAbilities, #402, 10909 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5J 3L9, for the establishment of a bursary for individuals with disabilities, to be set up and administered by the family.
There will be a public viewing on Friday, April 11th from 7-9pm, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Chapel, located at 10011 – 114th Street, Edmonton, AB
The funeral will take place on Monday April 14th, at 11:00AM, at St Thomas More Catholic Church, 210 Haddow Close, Edmonton, AB. The Church is located west of Terwilleger Drive, north of 23rd Avenue. A Celebration of Iris’s Life will follow the service at the Derrick Golf & Winter Club, 3500 119th Street, Edmonton, AB
Out of respect for Iris, EmployAbilities office will be closed on April 14th for staff to attend the funeral.
