Learn to Earn is EmployAbilities NEW Youth Skills Project
Learn to Earn is a skills training program in Edmonton for youth aged 15 to 30 with barriers to employment. Our next session begins May 19, 2015 so register soon! This 14 week program includes 6 weeks of classroom instruction with 8 weeks of work exposure. Upon completion of the course you will have the following certifications:
– Computer training certificate
– Inventory Control
– Food Safety
– WHMIS
– Service Best
– First Aid & CPR
– Warehouse Essentials
– Cleaning & Meaintenance
In order to participate in the program you must be between the ages of 15-30, not a currently receiving Employment Insurance and eligible to work legally in Canada. A living allowance is available for eligible participants throughout the duration of the course.
There is also a $500 bonus upon completion!!
