The Alberta Chamber of Commerce is welcoming nominations and submissions for the 2014 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction.
These prestigious awards bring together the excellent businesses in our province in honour and celebration of their exemplary, innovative and progressive practices. The Employer of Persons with Disabilities Award of Distinction is given to a business demonstrating creative leading edge practice in hiring, training, and developing employees with disabilities.
This award is given to an employer who has been instrumental in removing barriers to employment for persons with disabilities.
This year, we will be awarding businesses who have demonstrated excellence in the following categories:
- Aboriginal Woman Entrepreneur
- Diversity Leadership
- Employer of Persons with Disabilities
- Employer of Youth
- Small Business
- Aboriginal Relations – Best Practice
- Eagle Feather Business
- Marketing
- Youth Entrepreneur Award
- Export
All finalists are eligible for the evening’s top award, the Premier’s Award of Distinction.
If you would like to nominate a business or organization please provide us with the name of the business, a contact name and phone number or email address and the Alberta Chamber of Commerce will contact them and ask them to provide all the details for the application. Award nominations close Nov. 22, 2013.
